These new outposts for this expanding global brand join the already established offices in Singapore and London, all of which reflect the continuing success of apaiser as a world leader in luxury sustainable bathware with a focus on beautiful, hand crafted baths, basins and vanities.
New York and Dubai are strategically positioned to respond to markets in the Americas and Middle East respectively, just as London is the touch point for Europe and Singapore for Asia following the earliest stages of export demand for the apaiser brand.
“Our global growth has much to do with the particular niche the brand began to build in the luxury hotels sector over a decade ago. Our baths were first specified for the Four Seasons hotel Kuda Huraa in the Maldives. This quickly brought us to the attention of not only discerning international customers who fell in love with our product, but also to the heads of other hotel and resort groups who tend to watch competitor activity extremely closely given the high stakes of this industry at large”, said Belinda Try, founder and President of apaiser.
“This initial step lead to several international orders shortly thereafter and our expansion has grown exponentially ever since, particularly within the global hospitality sector where our baths and basins have been selectively incorporated within some of the finest hotels and resorts, from Manhattan to the Maldives”, says Try.
The worldwide appeal of apaiser’s range of products is not only due to the beautiful forms which have been created over the years, from timeless classics through Asian inspired minimalist shapes and on to cutting edge contemporary designs, but their ability to create tailor made and bespoke solutions, specific to the design intent or needs of the project.
Collaborations have ensued with some of the world’s leading designers and have resulted in beautiful, award winning projects, and lead to the development of some stunning collections. These include the recently unveiled BIJOUX collection with Kelly Hoppen MBE and the SAMPAN collection with WOHA architects in Singapore.
apaiser New York and Dubai, alongside Singapore and London, the team for the latter also expanding in the coming months, now form a global network overseen from head office in Melbourne, Australia, home base for the Australian sales and project teams, and global creative and operational teams.
Together the apaiser brand is positioned to respond to the largest possible scope of customer requests, from private residential projects, large scale multi-residential installations and hotels, through to fine-tuned bespoke orders.
