The apaiser team is thrilled to share another gorgeous hospitality project in Australia.

The online shop will feature a curated range from the brands bestselling, signature collections. Pieces from the iconic Zen, Oman, Haven, Chi and Sublime collections will be available, so that Australian customers can create their dream bathroom from the comfort of their home. There is also a design outlet where customers can purchase one of a kind pieces, discontinued lines, and over stocked items at a reduced price.

‘Our signature collections feature highly versatile, functional, immensely comfortable and beautiful bathware which complement both contemporary and traditional interiors. The range is a showcase of our bestselling pieces with options to suit any space, regardless of size or style’, says Belinda Try, Founder and President of apaiser.

The move to include an online shop as part of the apaiser experience, was made to increase accessibility to the brands affordable luxury. ‘We wanted to provide an opportunity for discerning clients who may be unable to visit our showroom, or are based in regional locations, or perhaps just prefer online shopping, to still have access to our beautiful collections’ says Try.

apaiser’ s approach has always been a highly tailored, personalised shopping experience. Pieces are made to order, and customers work closely with specialised apaiser sales and design consultants, to select from the extensive range of bathware and finishes available. The online shop provides a platform for customers to shop independently and access product which is available for immediate delivery. Standard shipping takes 5-10 days and is available to locations within 300kms of the nearest capital city in all states of Australia.

“apaiser’ s traditional fulfillment strategy is based on manufacturing products to order. With the online shop we wanted to offer a selection of our bathware, which is ready to dress your bathroom sanctuary in as little as a week.”, says Russell Cook, Showroom and Distribution Manager.

If the perfect piece is out of stock, you can still pre-order from the apaiser signature collections, through a simple online enquiry form. Made to order pieces from the complete range are available by contacting the apaiser team directly.

With an extensive range of bathware designed with exquisite detail and lovingly hand made using their unique apaisermarble, the brand is regarded as a leader in the industry. Their baths and basins feature in some of the world’s most beautiful private residences and hotels and resorts from Manhattan to the Maldives.

“We are looking forward to this opportunity to further engage with our customers at home in Australia, as so much of our focus in recent years has been on the overseas market.”, says Belinda Try, brand Founder and President.

Nominated in numerous categories for the 2019 AHEAD Awards MEA, the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is apaiser’s latest hospitality project in the Middle East. Opened in Q1 2019, the hotel overlooks both the coast and Dubai’s impressive skyline.

Lavish restaurants, wellness spa and function facilities for weddings and business meetings are part of the hotel’s complex. Hotel’s interior design by DESIGNWILKES, epitomises pure luxury and comfort. Upon entry into the expansive lobby, the guests are greeted with illuminated tree installation made from glass and steel, making a dramatic first impression.

Luxury bathware brand continues global expansion

June 5, 2018

apaiser significantly shifts up a gear this year with the opening of two separate international offices in New York and Dubai.

These new outposts for this expanding global brand join the already established offices in Singapore and London, all of which reflect the continuing success of apaiser as a world leader in luxury sustainable bathware with a focus on beautiful, hand crafted baths, basins and vanities.

New York and Dubai are strategically positioned to respond to markets in the Americas and Middle East respectively, just as London is the touch point for Europe and Singapore for Asia following the earliest stages of export demand for the apaiser brand.

“Our global growth has much to do with the particular niche the brand began to build in the luxury hotels sector over a decade ago. Our baths were first specified for the Four Seasons hotel Kuda Huraa in the Maldives. This quickly brought us to the attention of not only discerning international customers who fell in love with our product, but also to the heads of other hotel and resort groups who tend to watch competitor activity extremely closely given the high stakes of this industry at large”, said Belinda Try, founder and President of apaiser.

“This initial step lead to several international orders shortly thereafter and our expansion has grown exponentially ever since, particularly within the global hospitality sector where our baths and basins have been selectively incorporated within some of the finest hotels and resorts, from Manhattan to the Maldives”, says Try.

The worldwide appeal of apaiser’s range of products is not only due to the beautiful forms which have been created over the years, from timeless classics through Asian inspired minimalist shapes and on to cutting edge contemporary designs, but their ability to create tailor made and bespoke solutions, specific to the design intent or needs of the project.

Collaborations have ensued with some of the world’s leading designers and   have resulted in beautiful, award winning projects, and lead to the development of some stunning collections. These include the recently unveiled BIJOUX collection with Kelly Hoppen MBE and the SAMPAN collection with WOHA architects in Singapore.

apaiser New York and Dubai, alongside Singapore and London, the team for the latter also expanding in the coming months, now form a global network overseen from head office in Melbourne, Australia, home base for the Australian sales and project teams, and global creative and operational teams.

Together the apaiser brand is positioned to respond to the largest possible scope of customer requests, from private residential projects, large scale multi-residential installations and hotels, through to fine-tuned bespoke orders.

“We like to think that nothing in the realm of baths and basins cannot be realised anywhere on the planet!’’, says founder and driving force of the brand, Belinda Try.

Introducing the Timeless Elegance of Allegra

May 21, 2018

apaiser has just unveiled what could arguably be described as its most timeless design to date in Allegra, a collection which embodies a modern sensibility merged with eclectic yet classic influences drawn across several decades past.

Originally created as bath couture pieces for the Edition Hotel, London in 2010, this collection draws much from its original setting. This iconic site is steeped in historical references, first as grand Georgian townhouses in 1835 and later as the Berners Hotel realised in the elegant Belle Époque style.

Like its genesis in the Edition Hotel, London, Allegra now joyously celebrates both the past and present as much as it does the authenticity and originality of a wide range of influences over time. Here, at Number 10 Berners Street, Fitzrovia, hotels maestro, Ian Schrager, alongside the design team of Yabu Pushelberg, New York, drew from an eclectic mix of styles. Original features were preserved and historic influences drawn upon in perfect partnership with the very best in contemporary comfort and modern technology.

This very same approach was employed by the apaiser design team when first approached by Edition Hotels to create a bath which echoed the building’s past yet suitably reflected its future incarnation as a luxury hotel of cutting edge style.

Drawing inspiration from such evocative elements as a classic English club chair or the disciplined curves of a Cartier timepiece, the Allegra bath, with the addition of a petite bath, basin, vanity and bath step, has been fully realised as a collection which embodies refined elegance and modern sophistication.

The rigorous forms and lines of each design appear as a confluence of both the masculine and feminine – a balance so superbly achieved by famed jeweller, Louis Francois Cartier – resulting in a bathware collection which transcends period and place, and instead epitomises both classic refinement and edgy urbanity. As such, Allegra lends itself to a wide range of interior styles and settings;

Bath – Clean lines and a deep ergonomic recline utterly imbues elegance. The taller model compliments greater ceiling heights, while the more compact pairs perfectly with smaller spaces.

Basin – Designed to complement the hero bath design, the Allegra basin is delicate yet bold and perfectly proportioned to suit any bathroom setting.

Vanity – Departing the curve in lieu of the rectangular form celebrated equally over those classic periods past, the Allegra vanity’s sleekly elongated form marries the classic with the contemporary.

Apaiser at Prestigious ‘Handmade’ Exhibition in Milan

April 16, 2018

apaiser has been selected for inclusion in the prestigious ‘Handmade’ exhibition which opens on Tues 17 April, 2018 in Milan as part of Salone del Mobile.

An initiative of leading international design platform, Wallpaper, ‘Handmade’ is an annual event now in its 7th (seventh) year. Each year a new theme underscores the fair and from this springs a series of special events, expert talks, a pop-up store, plus a dedicated limited edition of the award winning magazine surrounding this unique global gathering of leading design names. For 2018 ‘Wellness and Wonder’ becomes the underlying foundation or focal point of ‘Handmade’, and where notions of ‘body replenishment and harmony restoration’ would appear in perfect step with the apaiser bathware ethos.

apaiser’s Sampan collection was specifically selected by the esteemed panel led by Wallpaper for inclusion in this year’s execution. Sampan is a collaboration between apaiser and WOHA, one of the world’s hottest architectural practices, based in Singapore. WOHA are responsible for some of the most ground breaking design projects the world over and are highly regarded for their integration of environmental and social principles, at every stage of the design process.

The Sampan collection from apaiser in association with WOHA was inspired by the eponymous and ancient wooden watercraft which continues to ply the Singaporean waterways to this day. These incredibly efficient and nimble vessels were the seed to an altogether ground-breaking range of baths and basins whose shapes and considered functionality represent a new aesthetic, unseen in the greater bathware market.

Also receiving plaudits is apaiser’s own staunch environmentally friendly mandate, coupled with a dedication to the craft of handmade creativity. Together they rendered apaiser & WOHA’s Sampan collection a worthy place, in this highly coveted design showcase, which brings together the very best in design expertise and craftsmanship from around the world. It is no small wonder that ‘Handmade’ has become the go to destination for the most cutting edge design aficionados across wholesale, retail, manufacturing, marketing, media and beyond…all keen to discover a bright new design star, hot new trend or dazzling design innovation.

‘Handmade’ opens at Mediateca Santa Teresa, Via della Moscova 28, Milan 17 April – 22 April 2018

apaiser featured in another Four Seasons Resort

March 11, 2018

apaiser’s long-standing association with Four Seasons Hotels continues, with the opening of a resort in the Seychelles. Located on the remote private Desroches Island, 230 km from the main Mahe Island, the resort features 71 intimate villas, offering uninterrupted privacy and comfort.

Fine dining, exclusive wellness sessions and a 14-kilometre-wide beach are one of the many attractions enhancing guests’ experience.

Designed by the Singaporean interior design practice Eco-ID, the resort combines luxury materiality with a tropical, rustic feel, perhaps best represented by the buildings original roof structure retained from the original resort which opened in 1972.

We were selected to enhance the generous bathrooms with made-to-measure pieces – an apaiser signature offering. We created Haven baths, inspired by our iconic collections, which were tailored to fit the bathing nooks making the most of sensational island vistas. These were beautifully complemented by Sublime freestanding basins, along with Plunge and Tranquility basins from our past collections.
