The end of the decade saw a turbulent year, with dramatic weather events driving a global change in our approach as designers and manufacturers to our work, and its direct and indirect effect on the environment.
A second home for apaiser and therefore a frequent travel destination, Singapore is one of our favourite places in the world.

Historically, bathing was a public ritual and social occasion, conducted in large community bath houses. Victorian attitudes and the invention of plumbing and access to running water in homes, created a monumental shift in our approach to bathing. More importance was placed on privacy, convenience and hygiene, so the lavish public baths became small, sterile utilitarian spaces.
Too often we feel overworked, over stimulated and in desperate need of an amazing holiday to refresh and revitalise ourselves. The unfortunate reality is that for many of us, work and life commitments make it difficult to plan long restful getaways in far off locations where we can switch off, recharge and create lasting memories.
It seems only moments ago that we were emerging from the holiday’s revitalized, energized and ready for a new year. What a memorable year it has been so far…
