The Vela Properties

Encapsulating the spirit of Australia’s Iconic Byron Bay

Sitting upon a corner block within Byron Bay’s golden grid, The Vela Properties are a unique development that has been brought to life by local developer, The Designory. Surrounded by the sublimely enviable coastal landscape of Australia’s northern surfing capital, each of the three unique north-facing homes, embrace natural light, connection to the subtropical outdoors, and homely interiors inspired by the natural beauty of the Australian East Coast.

Themed and aptly named Sikata (sand), Lavana (sea salt) and Samudra (sea), each of the expansive residences feature distinctive natural and handcrafted elements, including our sustainable apaiserMARBLE® bathware. Each piece of apaiser bathware is meticulously handcrafted from our signature material which contains up to 90% reclaimed marble, enriched with stone and minerals from the Australian Barossa. Our bathware is non-toxic and has minimal man-made ingredients with no added silica, and is free from aluminum trihydrate (ATH), kind to both the environment and its inhabitants.

Showcasing natural materials and textures, the interiors celebrate a handmade and artisanal approach to design.

Our luxurious stone bathware suited the brief perfectly as every piece of apaiser bathware is crafted by a team of highly experienced master craftsmen, resulting in beautiful works of high-performing, sculpted bathroom art. All three bathrooms feature our Reflection Collection a rich, moody ‘Charcoal’ finish.

In selecting the bathroom fixtures, The Designory looked to apaiser for its lush, sustainable marble material that retains the sensual touch and luxurious feel of natural marble, while delivering optimum strength and performance. Easy to clean and maintain, our material is non-porous, non-yellowing, scratch, mould, bacteria, stain and fade resistant. Our Oman Collection was specifically selected for its strong visual statement and curvaceous design details.
